Yes! Applications open the November prior to the next school year and remain open through that school year.

What time can I drop of my student and what time do I have to pick up my student by?

GCA provides supervision from 7:15-3:30 Monday-Thursday and from 7:15-11:00 on Friday

When will I hear back about an application acceptance?

It usually takes 3-4 weeks for applications to come back from review; however, no applications are reviewed during the open enrollment period in November.

When does the Letter of Intent go out for returning students?

Letters of Intent usually go out in February. Parents are emailed and a notice is put in the Wednesday "Blast" to let you know it is available.

Why am I receiving a link to register when I've already completed my Letter of Intent?

All returning students complete their Letter of Intent in February and all students must complete registration before the school year starts. Registration helps us update phone numbers and addresses, and lets parents e-sign any beginning of the year paperwork.

Do you offer tours of your campuses?

We do offer tours; however, we suggest attending our Information Sessions that include a tour. These give you the best insight into Gray Collegiate Academy and all we have to offer. If no Information Sessions works for you, we do offer tours on Fridays at 9 am during the school year. Please call the office if you'd like to schedule a Friday tour.

Will students be allowed to switch campuses from year to year?

Parents can note their desire to change campuses on the Letter of Intent. The transfer will be based on course availability.

Lottery Process

After the application window, if more applications are submitted than available seats, GCA will conduct a lottery.

Athletics

If interested in GCA athletics, your child must be enrolled at GCA before beginning practice with any GCA teams. We encourage you to contact Kevin Heise, GCA Athletic Director at kheise@grayca.com directly to confirm SC High School League eligibility rules.

Returning Students

Students who wish to return to GCA that are in good standing must complete the Letter of Intent and pay the instructional/technology fee before the set deadline to have priority with enrollment.
