It was nice getting back to a somewhat normal routine today. Tomorrow, we will be back with regular school hours. No delay tomorrow.

Flood Relief Fund
We at GCA want to help out with all the midland families affected by the flood. Instead of collecting food or clothing, we want to collect money in the form of gift cards or cash. We are asking that each student bring in a donation of a minimum of $5. Turn in your money or gift cards at the front desk. Of course in can be more. We will be collecting money through Friday. Our goal is to reach $1500 by Friday. This by no means is mandatory. Let's show the midlands what Gray is all about. All donations will go to a local charity.
Breast Cancer Awareness Day
We are going to have a Pink Out Day on Thursday, October 15th. We are asking for all students to wear Pink on Thursday. The cost to wear Pink will be a minimum of $1. All proceeds from this project will go to "Becky's Place" at Lexington Medical Center.
College Day Friday
This Friday we want our students to wear a college shirt of the college they are interested in attending. We are asking our staff to wear the shirt of the college they attended. Should be an
Trunk or Treat
Our wonderful student council is going to have a Trunk or Tread in our front parking lot from 4 to 6 on Sunday, November 1st. I know this is after Halloween, but we wanted to have something on a night that nobody else had one. This will be a lot of fun. More on this at a later date.
